Maria Ernestam is known as one of Sweden’s most skilled and multi faceted authors. She has a very loyal readership in her homeland Sweden as well as abroad. Maria has written novels and short stories and has contributed to several Swedish and international anthologies.

Maria Ernestam is very much appreciated for her stilistic care and for her well composed intrigues. She speaks four languages herself and is especially celebrated in Germany and France, where she has been awarded several prizes. Maria is married, has two adult children and lives in Stockholm. She writes in The Old Town of Stockholm or in her summerplace in Frillesås, on the Swedish westcoast.
